Florida Ecosafaris at Forever Florida Spring Savings for Florida Residents on NEW Zipline Safari

St. Cloud, FL – April 6, 2009   Spring is in the air at Forever Florida.  The 4,700 acre eco-ranch and wildlife conservation area is in full bloom showing the beauty and diversity of Florida’s Wilderness.  In celebration of the season, Florida EcoSafaris is offering a special discount on the NEW Zipline Safari, saving Florida residents $20 per person on this unique eco-adventure.  The offer is valid from April 1st  to May 31st 2009.

The 2 ½  hour Zipline Safari takes guests on an amazing treetop adventure through the canopy of “Forever Florida”.  Along the way, they experience even ziplines, nine aerial observation platforms and two sky bridges all passing through some of Forever Florida’s beautifully-preserved ecosystems.  One of the most popular zipline segments, “Slough Run”, takes guests through a type of forested wetland.  Spring brings renewed life to the experience as the bald cypress trees in the slough emerge from their dormant winter state into a beautifully vibrant green.  It’s a springtime sensation as thrill seekers step off the platform, 55 feet up in the air and “zip” down high tension cables through this beautiful area reaching speeds up to 25 miles per hour!

It’s also the perfect time of year for an adventure through Forever Florida on horseback.  As the spring rains replenish the water table, Bull Creek is bursting back to life providing an exciting point of interest on the Horseback Safari.  Led by an expert “cow hunter” guide, guests pass directly through the flowing waters of Bull Creek as they travel through seven of the wildlife conservation area’s diverse ecosystems.  According to the lead cow hunter, Miss Frankie, “The hard part is figuring out who has more fun crossing through the water, the riders or the horses!”  Guests wanting to kick back and relax on the 2 hour Coach Safari also get to experience Bull Creek as they stretch their legs along a winding boardwalk under the cool shade of 500 year-old cypress trees.

Following the attraction’s re-launch in January, thousands of visitors to Florida EcoSafaris have had the chance to experience real eco-tourism in Central Florida.  Best of all, 30% of the revenues from the different safaris are donated to the conservation effort.  Whether guests choose the thrill of the Zipline Safari, the adventure of the Horseback Safari, or the comfortable relaxation of the Coach Safari, they’re helping to preserve and protect Florida in its most natural state.  The beauty of springtime at Forever Florida may just be Mother Nature’s way of saying thanks.

Tickets for the new Zipline Safari are $85 for Adults and children ages 10 and up who meet the minimum weight requirement of 70 lbs.  Florida residents save $20 off that price from April 1st  to May 31st , 2009.  One, two and three-hour Horseback Safaris are available for $40, $60, and $80 respectively.  The two-hour Coach Safari is $28 for adults and $22 for children ages 6 to 12, with no charge for children 5 and under.  Florida EcoSafaris is located at 4755 N.
