The Showcase Arts Foundation Inc. (SAFI), dedicated to creating theater arts performances in the Tampa Bay Area, is proud to present another of their interactive comedy, murder mysteries. This will be a fun filled evening of entertainment accompanied by the wonderful food and beautiful atmosphere of the waterfront restaurant Bon Appetit at the Harbor in Dunedin.

All of the guests will be “attending” the engagement party” for two of the young Yacht Club members. The boy is the only son of one of the founding families of the club while the girl is from a new and somewhat unacceptable family that has been, reluctantly allowed to join the club. The sleazy, two faced, manager of the club has “the goods” on all of the members and as the night progresses we will all learn lots of secrets about everyone in the Yacht Club.

And then ... someone is killed. Help us find out who the murderer is and what their motive is while the action takes place all around you.

The performance will be on August 12th at Bon Appetit Restaurant, 150 Marina Plaza, Dunedin. Doors open at 6:00pm. The cost is $36 per person, $64 per couple. This includes the show, meal, soft drinks, tax and tip. The dinner consists of a small antipasto appetizer, house salad with rolls and butter, oven roasted chicken stuffed with pecans and craisens with asparagus spears, and chocolate mousse.

On August 18th, the Showcase Arts Foundation Inc. (SAFI) will be doing the last of its summer workshop performances at Flannigan’s Irish Pub on Main Street in Dunedin. Join us for this evening of skits, improv , monologues and more from plays, movies, TV and original works. There is no cover charge but the food is great and the beer is cold.
