"Sunscreen After Dark" Film Screenings will take place on October 23rd and 24th (Friday and Saturday) at 7:00 pm. The screenings will be held at the Muvico Baywalk 20 movie theatres in Downtown St. Pete.

The all day Actor’s Workshop will be held on October 24th and 25th (Saturday and Sunday) in Downtown St. Pete, and will be taught by Lana Veenker, one of the casting directors of Twilight, and renowned Miami based acting coach Marc Durso.

Lana Veenker will be teaching “How to Break into the Biz if You Don’t Live in Hollywood” and “Auditioning for TV and Film.”

Veenker began her career in London. In 1999, she launched her casting company, which has grown to one of the most successful location casting companies in the US.

Recently, her company has cast The Untitled Crowley Project starring Harrison Ford; The Road starring Vigo Mortensen; The Burning Plain, starring Charlize Theron; Twilight; and Management starring Jennifer Aniston. She is currently casting the TNT series “Leverage”, starring Timothy Hutton.

Marc Durso teaches the Uta Hagen and Meisner techniques. His students work all over the world in film, TV, commercials, and theatre. For more information on Marc Durso, go to www.acttrue.com

Registration for classes is $125, and the tuition includes access to all of the other Halloween activities.

There will also be a Halloween Party at 10:00 pm on October 24th at the Baywalk Entertainment Complex in Downtown St. Pete.
