February 1, 2008 Sarasota, Florida -M Gallery of Fine Art in Sarasota, Florida, is proud to announce the names of three artists who have recently been accepted into Salon International 2008:  Jane Chapin, for Lisbon Castle; Deborah Paris for Winter Grey's and Twilight at Scatter Creek; and Ron Sanders for Courtney's Pumpkin.  As one of the four leading national professional art contests, Salon International dedicates its selections to those contemporary artists who are pursuing a path of artistic skill and excellence in the area of traditional representational art.  Awards for the 2008 competition will be announced in April.

 

Sanders, who resides in Venice, Florida, has also recently been juried into the Top 100 Competition for the state of Indiana as well as the 2nd 100 Competition representing the state of Montana.  Ron Sanders is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana and is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design.

M Gallery of Fine Art represents more than thirty living Master and emerging artists from the United States, including Clayton J. Beck III, Romel dela Torre, and Robert Liberace, and Molly Schmid.  The gallery showcases original oil paintings, sculpture and the finest conservation framing available.  Each artist has a unique connection to Sarasota and many artists continue to receive national recognition from The National Portrait Society,

Oil Painters of America, Salon International, and other esteemed juried competitions.  M Gallery of Fine Art is continually working to promote educational and professional programs for artists and students of art.
