Writing ContestDelphi Academy of Florida is hosting a writing contest for writers from around the world.  There are two main sections: Science Fiction/Fantasy (1000 word max) and a 6 word short story (the best example of this is Hemingway’s “For Sale. Baby Shoes. Never Worn.”).

The contest will run through the end of November.  Pinellas County locals can enjoy the networking parties offered by Delphi to help writers network with each other and the panel of experienced judges.

The contest is for adults and children.  The cost for adults is $50 for the Sci-Fi/Fantasy section and $25 for children.  The 6 word contest is only $20 to enter.

There will be various prizes offered to the winners, including a chance to get published.
