The United States Coast Guards Turn 219 Years OldOn August 13th, the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce and the City of Clearwater helped the United States Coast Guard celebrate their 219th birthday. The festivities were held at Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, the largest and busiest Coast Guard air station in the country.

The United States Coast Guard Turns 219This August the United States Coast Guard turns 219 years old and the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce (CRCC), partnering with the City of Clearwater and the Navy League of the United States - Clearwater Council, invite you to join them "to thank our dedicated Coast Guard service men and women as well as bring greater awareness to our community [of] the important role the Coast Guard plays in the safety and wellbeing of the citizens of the United States and specifically Pinellas County."

Clearwater, FL, July 20, 2009 - The Clearwater Chamber of Commerce (CRCC) is continuing their mission of bringing the business community together, this time focusing on women.  The CRCC is having their upcoming Women's Expo on August 5, 2009 from 9am-2pm to bring their women-owned businesses, as well as women professionals of the business community, the ability to connect to each other, a needed activity in today's business environment.  The event will be hosted at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Clearwater Beach.  Dr. Joedrecka Brown of Morton Plant Mease Primary Care is one of the guest speakers.

Grand Opening of Smokin’ Out BBQ Grill

Harrison (former Harrison’s location), had their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce on the 23rd of January and continued their grand opening celebration through Saturday with live entertainment.

Serving smoked fish, chicken, pork, ribs, wings, sandwiches and mouth-watering Black Angus burgers, “Smokin’ Out” also offers a children’s menu, event catering and take-out.
