As 2009 wound down, real estate wound UP! The year ended in a frenzy of real estate sales with Realtors showing and selling property like crazy, lenders too busy to get to files, Title Companies having to juggle things to get to closings – WOW! What a great way to end 2009!
The best part of that is that 2010 will continue on this trend. There could not be a better time for buyers to buy and the word is out! It took a while, but buyers are full swing back in the market and houses are selling like hotcakes!
Like the ‘good old days’ if you find a house that you like, it isn’t a good thing to go home and think about it, as it will probably be gone the next day. I called a Realtor about making an offer one morning last week, and had to wait to speak to my client before proceeding. At about 2:00 pm I heard from my client and called the Realtor again to get more information, only to find out that the property was already under contract! It had been on the market a whopping 20 hours or so!
Interest rates remain low, and prices haven’t been this low in more than 15 years! In fact, I’m seeing deals like I’ve NEVER seen before! The opportunities are out there for almost any budget and taste.
I’ve got great lenders that are available to pre-qualify buyers, and once pre-approved, the shopping can begin! If you’ve been sitting on the fence, waiting for the right time to buy, I can guarantee you – the water is warm, jump in!
